Kufri is a small hill station in Shimla district. During winters this place turns into a Ski ground and many other sports. Most noteworthy, the panoramic view that this place offers is absolutely breathtaking and mesmerising.

Auli is known as the Ski destination of India. The slopes here are a delight for both professional skiers and novices. Especially relevant, the government tourism department conducts Winter sports competition to encourage Skiing in India.
#4# Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh
Tawang town in located in the North-eastern part of India. It is famous for its Monasteries and various beautiful passes. Tawang receives heavy snowfall every year during December- January. Hence there is also provisions of skiing in the town.
#5# Gulmarg, Jammu & Kashmir
Gulmarg is a hill station in Kashmir. Most of all a famous and much-visited spot in winters when the whole area is covered with thick sheets of snow. Hence, it is one of the popular destinations for Skiing in India. Gulmarg offers various winter sports and also is one of the best Skiing destinations in Asia.

Narkanda is a town in Shimla district. It is yet another Skiing destination in winters. It is surrounded by magnificent peaks and famous for its apple and cherry cultivation. Hence this is surely a wonderful place to visit in winters.

Katao is situated in the north of Sikkim. It is known as ‘The Switzerland of Sikkim’ and is a treat for all adventure sports lovers. Most of all this place has to offer magnificent views to its visitors and encounters pleasant snowfall. As a result, this place seems even beautiful.
#8# Landour, Uttrakhand
Landour is a small cantonment town in Uttrakhand. Both Landour and Mussoorie are known as Twin towns and consequently ‘Queens of the Hills‘. This small town turns into a beautiful white stretch on snowfall. And the same can be enjoyed on foot.
#9# Triund, Himachal Pradesh
Triund is a small town in Kangra district, famous for its trek. The trail is rocky and cut into steps at some places. In addition, there is a provision of campsite up there. Maybe there are some chances of this place to be inaccessible due to heavy snowfall in January.
