The best-enjoyed part is the road journey.
- You can freely drive at a good speed, the roads are excellent.
- Beautiful scenery all the way
- Avoid traffic in Bangalore by starting early.
- There were well-maintained dhabas/food joints on the way as well.
- It will be an awesome journey if you go by own car or book cab as the cab person has more idea on the places and locations and also regarding the timings of Temple.
- Preferably one should go via booked cab/hire car. OR Hire a zoom car for this purpose.
I stayed in Madikeri for a one night at Ferine Valley. It is advised to make bookings at home stay, cheap and best option!
We started our journey early morning from Bangalore via road and reached my destination (Ferine Valley) at noon. As they do not have lunch facility, decided to have lunch in Madikeri before proceeding further. Location, view everything was alluring. While returning on we visited Abbey Falls and Bylakuppe Tibetan Monastery.
